Helmut Wolech

born 1954 in Vienna/Austria

The desire to photograph was born out of his exploration of the literature of the Black Romantic movement (De Sade, Lautréamont) and his interest in Surrealism, Symbolism and Viennese Actionism.

He aims above all to visualize the interrelationships between the erotic, death, love, madness, perversion and extreme emotions.
